My rabbitry consists of approx: 30 head of dwarfs only.I live in Wardsville Ontario Canada.I have been showing and breeding for 25 plus years now.I focus on SABLE POINTS, however I have most shadeds,otters,blacks and my son's focus is Choc otters.My son is Jake he helps with the daily chores as he is 16 and very interested in the breed.I am now working on a few brokens also for him.We only cross over the U.S.A. border a few times a year.I do not show very often,however this year I have told Jake I will get him too some more shows.WE will post when we are crossing border and to what shows as soon as we know.Please feel free to email me with any inquiry's.

I am a breeder by heart.I really don't enjoy showing as I am more focused on breeding,I do and have sold many of rabbits mostly in the United States.Because I keep small numbers I cull very hard, I do produce lots of babies every 6-8 weeks. I move brood does around alot,they don't stay much longer then 2 litters. Because I am trying to breed the best sable points I can I am always moving young in, older out. That leaves me with many good rabbits to sell.I only keep approx: 4 brood bucks for 20 does. I will post new rabbits for sale and when and where I will be. If you wish to purchase from me I do require a deposit in advance to hold the rabbit for you.My goal is to sell top quality rabbits and put them in the hands of people who will show them.After all they are bred to be shown !

I wish to ask all of you who have rabbits from me to please send me any updates on legs and or feedback on any stock of mine you have purchased.I enjoy hearing hows things turn out.As I said before I sell many show rabbits but never show,so don't see most people more then once a,year or so.It interests me how they are OR are not working out.I may use your email for my "happy campers" page so please let me know if you are ok with such,I will only post feedback with your permission.Send away Thanks John

"I met John a couple of years ago when I was looking at his old website and spotted this beautiful Neth. Dwarf buck there.  I was really drawn to this buck and John had decided at that time to go out of Black Otters, so I was lucky enough to buy this buck and a couple of does from John.        The buck's name is Adirondack's PacMan and I purchased him in Oct. /07 and I still have him and he produces some pretty nice babies.     Check him out on my website".     Thanks John for PacMan!!!

I sold this little fellow "at a very reduced price" to MELODY CHAMPION OF "CHAMPION DWARFS" He was a nice buck but had a small tear in his ear done by his brother in the pen making him breedable only and not show animal.I sent her a email asking her how he turned out and this was her reply:
MELODY WROTE:Well about a month after we got him he didnt look that great and we were ready to cull him, but we held on to him and about a month later he started looking a little better so we still kept him, but now he looks super, he looks like a best of breed rabbit. We just wish he didnt have that stupid tear in his ear lol.Thanks John

My daughter was just getting into showing the netherland dwarf  breed in both ARBA and 4H. We are so happy to have gotten such nice rabbits from you... The two Sable point bucks have done outstanding their first show season. One has won 4 BOV's, while the other has gotten 2 BOV's I believe the boys have taken every BOV in the shows they had been entered in so Far. Looking forward to getting the Sable Point Doe off you this year to go along with them.. The Himi- Doe we had gotten off you last year just had 5 babies and all are looking beautiful so far. Both my daughter and I can not wait for this years show season to start. Stay tuned for this years show progress!! :)MELISSA JONES

 SHANNON WROTE: I met John through an ad for dwarfs when I was looking to pick up my first trio.  I met him at the Fulton NY show in March of 08 to pick up a siamese sable doe which he bred to a nice sable point buck.  She was a sweet little thing.  She was everything the ad said she would be, and looked like the photo I had been sent.  A couple weeks after bringing her home she had a wonderfull litter of three siamese sables.  He has some really nice show animals and would definately do business with him in the future.  Ramble Ledge Rabbitry Shannon Hubner Pembroke, NH

VERA WROTE: We met Big John at the Bowling Green, OH show in 2008. His rabbits are very nice with all the components needed to show. We purchased both a ND Black Himi Doe and Siamese Sable Buck. Both rabbits have given our rabbitry a boost in quality and standards. We hope to see and purchase another Black Himi from BIG JOHN at the show in May. Thanks John, it was a pleasure doing business.
